With over 14 years of experience, I’ve worked extensively with children, young people, individuals, couples, and families across charity and educational settings. My background as a school counsellor with primary and secondary-aged school students, as well as my current work as a counsellor with a university, gives me a unique perspective that I bring to supporting parents with their neurodivergent tweens and teens.
This insight helps me support parents to understand their child’s emotional world, responding to challenges with empathy and developing practical, real-life strategies.
-
My approach is collaborative and neurodiversity-affirming. I use integrative and solution-focused methods to help you find what works best for your family’s unique rhythm. Together, we’ll focus on building understanding, connection, and balance so you can support your well-being while managing family dynamics.

More About Hannah

I specialise in helping neurodivergent adults (18+), and those exploring their possible neurodivergent identity, to confidently find their way forward towards a more fulfilling life.
Many of the people I work with are ADHDers, AuDHDers or autistic, and either formally diagnosed or self-identified. I work with you whatever your neurotype, whether you were identified early, later in life, or are still making sense of what feels true for you. -
Whether facing specific issues or seeking personal growth, I can help you find your voice, make sense of your feelings and discover your own solutions that bring you closer to where you want to be.
I help people who often feel misunderstood, ‘too much’ or like they’re constantly trying to fit in. Perhaps you look successful on the outside but feel lost, overwhelmed or weighed down by self-doubt inside. You might find relationships, work or everyday emotions challenging – whether that’s feeling disconnected from your feelings or experiencing them with overwhelming intensity. Maybe you’re fearful of being 'broken' and want support from someone you can trust.
I’m here to help people who may be navigating anxiety, procrastination paralysis or the exhaustion that comes from masking who you are. You deserve a space to feel understood, supported and accepted.
I often work with people who want support in the following areas:Anxiety | Burnout | Confidence | Identity | Late Diagnosis | Life Transitions | Low Mood | Depression | Panic Attacks | Perimenopause and Menopause | Procrastination | Relationships | Self-Esteem | Sensory Processing Differences | Stress | Suicidal Thoughts | Work Issues
-
Alongside private practice, I work within a specialist service counselling autistic adults. Previous mental health roles include NHS IAPT counselling for anxiety and depression, bereavement services, community counselling, pandemic support and a helpline for people with suicidal thoughts.
My background is in neuroscience, education and publishing. I have worked in the UK and abroad within global corporate organisations, small businesses, schools, charities, social enterprises and with the NHS.
-
Together, we'lI work in a calm and relaxed way to explore your experiences with warmth, curiosity and gentle challenge, helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourself - which in turn becomes your tool for developing your personal strategies for success. This can lead you to increased self-esteem, more meaningful relationships and the confidence to face life’s complexities with resilience so you feel more equipped to cope.
I am passionate about the neurodiversity paradigm and social model of disability. Counselling was of profound help to me and I am motivated to provide neuro-affirming support to others.

Therapy: Open-ended | Short-term
Adults and Young People 11+
📍Online | Guildford and Horsley, Surrey
I'm Vicky, an integrative psychotherapist. I bring genuine warmth and psychological expertise to every session. What makes my approach unique? Twenty years as an NHS GP means I also understand the medical reality of what you're experiencing. This dual understanding enhances our work, aiming for more effective therapy. I will work with you with both passion and the compassion of someone who has walked the paths and rebuilt - and the professional expertise to help you find your way through.
More About Vicky
-
I work with both adults and young people aged 11+, aiming to see their experiences through their lens in order to allow me to truly and authentically work with them. I can also work with parents to approach challenges from their perspectives.
-
Focusing the lens on neurodiversity, common experiences I support include:
Feeling different without understanding why
Exhaustion from masking in social situations
Executive function challenges
Late diagnosis processing
Recognition that there will often be a number of separate or overlapping challenges
Your neurodivergent brain brings unique strengths and faces specific challenges. Therapy provides understanding and practical strategies.
Celebrating neurodivergent strengths: ADHD brings creativity, energy, and innovative thinking. Autism brings attention to detail, integrity, and deep focus. We'll identify your specific strengths and learn to leverage them effectively.
How therapy with me can help: Neurodivergent clients often have specific needs and preferences. We might work on practical strategies for executive function, explore the impact of masking, or process the emotions of late diagnosis - guided entirely by your priorities. Some clients want structured skill-building, others need space to explore identity. Sessions can be adjusted to your sensory needs and communication style. There's no "right" way to do therapy - we'll find what works for your unique brain.
What support achieves: You'll gain deeper self-understanding on your terms, develop strategies that actually work with your wiring, and build authentic connections. The shame of being "different" can transform into appreciation for your unique perspective.
-
Prior to becoming a therapist I was a GP in the NHS for nearly 20 years, giving me a rich background to draw from. My work centres on providing a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
-
When you work with me, you’ll get a safe space to explore without judgment, practical tools that work in daily life, whole-person understanding - your mind, body, and circumstances matter, authentic care- you'll feel heard, valued, and understood and true collaboration- your goals, your pace, your journey.
You're already being strong just by considering reaching out. In our work together, there's no judgement, no pressure to be 'fixed,' and no timeline you need to follow. This is your safe space to be exactly where you are, to feel what you're feeling, and to gently explore what comes next.

Michele (they/she)
BACP Accredited Counsellor
People come to therapy for a range of reasons. You might be struggling in your relationship(s) or having family issues. Perhaps you're feeling ready to work through a traumatic experience. You might be experiencing anxiety around a life transition or change and finding it difficult to cope with, or maybe you want to understand yourself better.
Using an affirming, intersectional, collaborative and non-judgemental approach, I will support you to explore and make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and their impact. I will help you figure out how to move forward in a way that feels right for you, and leave you with the confidence and ability to make use of inner resources and external tools when therapy ends.
More About Michele
-
I work with people 18+ on a variety of issues. My experience is primarily with ADHD, Autistic and AuDHD folks, but all neurodivergent individuals are welcome to get in touch. I am queer-friendly and affirming of non-binary, trans and gender nonconforming folks.
-
Some of the areas I have particular experience in include:
Understanding the impact of your neurodivergence
Making sense of your experiences in childhood and adulthood through a neurodivergent lens
Exploring the intersections of neurodivergence and other parts of your identity
Self-esteem and confidence
Self-acceptance
Bullying
Being diagnosed later in life
How to navigate neurodivergent relationships
Exploring whether you want to pursue a diagnosis or medication
Adult and childhood trauma (emotional neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, gaslighting)
Life transitions (loss, parenthood, career change, health diagnoses)
You might be coming to counselling specifically for issues relating to your neurodivergence, or perhaps you see the difficulties you want to address as unrelated, but want a neurodivergent-friendly therapist.
More broadly, I have experience working with:
identity exploration (gender, sexuality, race, culture, heritage, neurodivergence, sense of self)
adult and childhood trauma (emotional neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, gaslighting)
life transitions (loss, parenthood, career change, health diagnoses)
relationships (monogamous and non-monogamous; friends, family, partners and colleagues)
-
Before qualifying as a therapist, I worked for over 15 years in the charity and voluntary sector in various roles, with specific experience working with young people, refugees and asylum seekers, and the unhoused. I have a distinct understanding of the challenges and pressures involved in this work. I have also been involved with and supported grassroots community and activist groups with strategy development, understanding power dynamics in their groups, internal conflicts, wellbeing and burnout.
-
I work from an anti-oppressive position and my approach is consent-led and non-pathologising. This means I will always check in with you before trying a certain technique / approach, afterwards to reflect on how it was for you, and regularly over the course of therapy; and I will not treat trauma responses, identity or choices as evidence of a mental health problem. I actively understand that different identities and lived experience will shape how we experience the world and my approach considers the impact of systemic oppression on emotional, physical and mental wellbeing. I trust and value your lived experiences and the understanding you make of it. I work in an identity affirming, intersectional, collaborative, client-centred and trauma informed way.
